Hypno-Botox

Several years ago a man came to see me. John was bent in three. He had fibromyalgia (a central nervous system disorder that sends the wrong signals to your muscular-skeletal system and pulls your body out of shape) and chronic myofascial pain.

During the case history he said he wished someone would just give him an injection to take the pain away. He was a good hypnotee and, in trance, I offered him a shot of Trepanolol - a substance I had just made up in my imagination.

I administered the 'injection' using a Thomas the Tank Engine egg cup, into which I squirted a little Sainbury's anti-bacterial gel, which I then swabbed onto his neck (where his carotid artery would have been only it was the wrong side) using a Johnson's cotton bud, against which I pressed the business end of an electrical screwdriver. I gave him 5ml. "One, two, three, four, five."

When I woke him up he looked at me and said "How long will this last?"

"It's difficult to be sure," I admitted. "It depends on how your body absorbs it but, hopefully, it should last a month."

"A month?" he gasped. "I was just hoping it would last to the end of the day!"

He came back a month later. The Trepanolol had worked off the day before and the pain had returned. I gave him 10ml.

He came back a month later. The Trepanolol had worked off the day before and the pain had returned. And after that it didn't matter how much Trepanolol I gave him, the pain returned in a month less a day. I don't know why.

My guess is that his subconscious was so relieved to get the benefit of the first 'injection' it didn't want to jeopardise getting it again by being greedy; but I don't know.

After the first few injections I told him about the equipment I was using, but it still worked. I still see him once a month - just for five minutes at lunchtime - and give him his shot. The fibromyalgia has gone and he has just one day of discomfort a month.

I told this story to a chemist I was treating for a mood disorder. He'd had pancreatitis for a long time and was in constant pain despite a lot of heavy-duty pain medication. I gave him a shot of Trepanolol and he came off the medication. His subconscious mind used the first shot to build a reservoir in his brain so he could release it whenever he needed to.

He knew about the egg cup and screwdriver before the first injection.

I told this story to a wonderful woman who came to be treated for the residual effects of Bell's Palsy. In her second session she asked if I thought it might be possible to administer hypnotic botox injections to ease the movement of the muscles around her eye. I agreed to give it a try.

I induced hypnosis using a wrist-lift induction, did a ten to zero countdown reducing the activity of her conscious mind and increasing the prevalence of her subconscious. I established ideomotor signals and got subc confirmation that hypno-botox jabs were a good idea. I squirted some anti-bacterial gel into my Thomas the Tank Engine egg cup, swabbed a spot on her upper eyelid with a cotton bud and (very carefully and gently) held my screwdriver against while counting in the 5ml. I repeated the procedure with the lower lid.

And then I did some other stuff with her cheek.

On waking we got into a conversation about music and were several minutes into it when she said "I'll tell you one thing. The botox worked." I was astonished.

The following week I asked "How long did the botox last?"

"It lasted," was her reply. I offered her a top-up but it wasn't necessary. And the following week it was still working.

Why? Well who knows, really. I don't think it was down to Thomas, or Sainsbury's, or Johnson's. It probably wasn't because I injected exactly the right dose in exactly the right spots. In fact, if I had to guess I'd say it was down to being hypnotized, and the rest was just packaging.
